Special installation conditions have to be taken into account when using the BLITZDUCTORconnect surge protective devices in intrinsically safe electric circuits. According to EN 60079-11; 2007 (VDE 0170-7), a minimum clearance must be maintained between intrinsically safe and non-intrinsically safe signal circuits (connecting parts, e.g. connection clamps) of ≥ 50 mm! When using PARTITION EXI, this clearance is also maintained if the surge protective devices are arranged directly next to one another. Ideally suited for use in conjunction with DRC IRCM for condition monitoring of BCO modules. (1 pack = 2 pieces)
