Planning software for lightning protection systems

The electronic decision aid DEHNsupport provides easy-to-handle and practical programmes for designers and installers. It covers the risk management, the calculation of the length of air-termination rods, the separation distance, or the calculation of the length of earthing electrodes, hence simplifying the planning of a lightning protection system.
A user-friendly design allows convenient application of the programmes and good support in view of the objects to be protected.

Help:

Should you have problems with this program running it may be due to the Macro security level within Excel being set too high.
To correct the problem go into Excel – Tools – Macro – Security and set the security level to a lower level.

  • If you have performed risk analyses or if you have edited or selected already
    existing calculations by using version 2.040, which was published on July 12, 2010,
    they are incorrect.
    In these calculations, risk components RA as well as RU (risk components for touch and
    step voltage outside and inside the structure) have not been calculated.
    To be able to undo these calculation errors, you have to install version 2.041 and edit your calculations once again. go Instruction PDF [500 KB]

    Please note: The error only occurs in analyses with created lightning protection zones/ zones.
