New BLITZDUCTOR® XT moduls:
Space-saving lightning current and surge arrester module with LifeCheck for protecting two single lines with common reference potential and unbalanced interfaces, optionally available with direct or indirect shield earthing.
The two-pole combined arrester module with TYPE1/P1 SPD class complements the BLITZDUCTOR® XT family. Like the four-pole version, the arrester stands out due to the fact that it can be used for nominal currents as high as 1.8 A up to a temperature of +45°C. The modules allow to directly or indirectly connect line shields to the equipotential bonding system. |
Space-saving surge arrester module with LifeCheck for protecting two / four signal lines of stranded signal interfaces.
The space-saving BXT ML2 MY E 110 and BXT ML4 MY 110 surge arrester modules with LifeCheck for protecting two / four signal lines or one / two pairs complement the BLITZDUCTOR® XT family. These varistor-based TYPE 2 arresters in Y configuration are characterised by the fact that they have no series impedances and can thus be specified for a nominal current up to 3 A. The BXT ML2 MY E 110 module features an earthing plate and allows to directly connect two lines to the equipotential bonding system. The arresters are used in signal circuits with high signal voltages, for example in railway systems. |
The space-saving surge arrester module with LifeCheck allows to protect one pair in intrinsically safe measuring circuits and bus systems and is optionally available with direct or indirect shield earthing. Insulation resistance > 500 V line-earth.
The two-pole surge arrester module with TYPE2/P1 SPD class for use in intrinsically safe circuits Ex(i) complements the BLITZDUCTOR® XT family. The ATEX and IECEx-approved module for protecting intrinsically safe measuring circuits allows to directly or indirectly connect line shields to the equipotential bonding system.
